1. Lost in Thought
This was my roommate's eyes, she has the best eyes ever! For this photo I did some portrait enhancements. I sharpened the eyes and then did a reverse mask effect, so only the eyes showed. Then I used the brush tool and lightened and smoothed her skin around her eyes a bit, and to make her eyebrows more blurred and the same color as her hair. I then used a gaussian blur effect and turned the opacity down to about 50% so it would smooth the skin a bit more; I masked out the eyes.
2. Sunset Beauty
Ironically, this photo was not taken as sunset. I used the match color effect from another photo listed below. It gave it more of a pink glow and I loved it.
3. Balancing Blue
This was my color replacement effect photo. I changed the color from red to blue.

Great editing and enhancements, Cassie! I also like the variety of your portraits. Your lighting was excellent and you have some fun angles too. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job with your edits this week, especially with the first photo of your roommates eyes. It looks incredible yet still very natural and I wouldn't have known that it had been edited had I not seen the original. I also liked the last photo and I agree that the lighting was perfect and really lit up her face. Very well done!
